From 17 to 21 of January, 2018 «RZD Tour» took part in the world’s main tourist exhibition on the Spanish-speaking market — FITUR 2018. It was hosted in the Madrid biggest exhibition center that can hold all interested parties — more than 10 thousand exponents, 7 thousand journalists, 230 thousand visitors.
As is customary, the exhibition itself was separated into two areas what helped to distinguish Spanish companies and international ones. More than 160 countries were presented in the international exhibition hall, but not only did Russia stood out due to the number of stands (it was 5 of them this year), it also attracted great interest from visitors and journalists. FITUR 2018 exhibition, in particular, helped the Spanish-speaking football fans and their representatives determine the ways of how they are going to come to Russia and which cities they are going to visit.
At the all-Russian stand «RZD Tour» presented the most relevant products for the audience gathered at the exhibition — car rental for the comfortable travel across Russia during the World Cup, short-term excursion tours across the cities of the Golden Ring on the actual steam train and the Trans-Siberian tours on the luxury train for those who have always dreamed of seeing Russia in all its glory.
«On the international scale we are presenting our project of organizing tours in the groups of cars attached to the regular trains and forming our own charter trains for organized tourist groups. We believe that the World Cup host-cities are the ideal direction for the train tours. Our target audience is an organized tourist group — our clients can travel from almost any Russian city» — «RZD Tour» representative stressed.
«New Year With Northern Lights» tour has also sparked great interest from the visitors. During this tour one will come to 5 cities — Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Petrozavodsk, Murmansk, Vologda — on the winter holidays.
The result of the participation in FITUR 2018 was 94 business meetings with the agencies from Spain, Portugal and some Latin American countries. Individual tourists who planned to travel on their own were also very interested in the product.
