Russian Railway Tours presented Russia as a tourist destination at WTM London 2018. The exhibition is considered to be one of the main events in a tourist society. The trade lasts for 3 days from 6 till 8 November at the biggest modern exhibition center of London Excel.
Professionals in tourism from all over the world gathered at that huge event to present their products, make new business contacts, discuss the perspective of business development.
Russian Railway Tours has been taking part in the exhibition for the last four years. As we are approaching the Football World Cup 2018, the interest to railway journeys in Russia from foreign travelers is growing and the company arranged a major exposition and presented two main products. One of them was cruise luxury train trips on the Trans-Siberian railroad and the other one was Luxury Train Travel — individual itinerary trips by a private train.
«Our challenge is to show that it is possible to travel with comfort and pleasure in Russia especially if this trip is by a luxury train. It is important that we do not just offer images of „matreshkas“ and „samovars“ but offer a deep understanding of cultural and historical heritage of the Russian regions. Russian Railway Tours being almost the only Russian company, which is promoting the idea of the exclusive trips in Russia, has created a tourist product for foreign clients in premium segment» — says a representative of the Russian Railway Tours.
The exhibition has proved that foreign tourists are very interested in railway tours. Russian Railway Tours representatives had more than 50 business meeting for 4 days of the exhibition, the stand was visited by hundreds of guests.
A special interest of the exhibition visitors was to Trans-Siberian trips by Imperial Russia train, which is a unique possibility to see all Russia within 14 days. The interior of the train is in pre-revolutionary style. In 2018 Imperial Russia train will run on 4 routes: Moscow —Vladivostok, Vladivostok — Moscow, Moscow — Beijing and Beijing — Moscow.
